Mother of political public relations : oral history transcript / Leone Baxter ; interview conducted by Gabrielle Morris, 23 June 1972.

First session of a planned full memoir. First 26 pages are a typescript of audio of a film produced by the American Public Relations Society with Baxter on her career. Includes reminiscences of her work with husband Clem Whitaker as a political consultant on the campaigns of Goodwin Knight, Sam Yorty, and Earl Warren's 1942 campaign. Other reminiscences on California politics. Supplementary material contains Morris' notes in preparation for the interview, letters to Morris from Baxter, publicity material and news clippings, and other items related to Baxter's career and her firm of Whitaker and Baxter International.
